
Gigabyte Technology has expanded its product line of process-specific motherboards with a new model, codenamed GA-6PCSVT. Based on Intel C602 chipset, the newbie is primarily targeting high-yield workstations and rack servers. This model is thought to support Intel Xeon E5-1600 v2 and Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 CPUs for Socket LGA 2011 with the maximal TDP level of 150 W.
The Gigabyte GA-6PXSVT accommodates eight slots for the incorporation of four-channel RAM: DDR3 standard, up to 64 GB capacity, support for 1600 MHz modules.
