Meet WinFast GTX 960 Hurricane Adapter from Leadtek

Leadtek expands its production line with a brand version of GeForce GTX 960 videocard. Entitled WinFast GTX 960 Hurricane, the model is differentiated by factory overclocking and a powerful dual fan cooling system. Initially, the company will launch a 2 GB version but later on there might appear a 4 GB version.



Leadtek WinFast GTX 960 Hurricane is based on GM206 GPU with 1024 CUDA cores, 10 SMM, and 64 ROPs. It runs at 1228 MHz frequency but might be overclocked to 1291 MHz frequency. The integrated 2 GB GDDR5 memory with 128-bit interface operates at 7010 MHz index. Furthermore, this videocard consumes up to 120 W power.


Cooling system consists of two fans and a voluminous heatsink. All integrated video interfaces found their place at the rear panel: three DisplayPort ports, one HDMI 2.0 and one DVI-I. By the way, the nominal delivery set offers a dedicated DVI to VGA adapter.

Xigmatek Intros New CPU Cooler Gaia II

Xigmatek, an outstanding manufacturer of cutting-edge PC components, announces the release of a new CPU cooler, entitled Gaia II. The model is developed in accordance with a traditional tower-like framework and might be truly called a universal cooling solution. It supports a large variety of platforms for processors with TDP level of not higher than 150 W: Intel Socket LGA 775/1366/1156 and AMD Socket AM2(+)/AM3(+)/FM2/FM1.



Cooler Gaia II is designed with the direct implementation of H.D.T. technology (Heat Pipe Direct Touch). This implies that all three copper heatpipes, which stem from the heatsink base, come into direct contact with the CPU surface. The heatpipes themselves have got U-shape structure and 8 mm dimensions. They pierce ‘multi-plate’ aluminum heatsink to provide for a better heat dissipation.

Fractal Design Unveils Define Nano S Chassis

Fractal Design, an outstanding Swedish hardware vendor, introduced no less remarkable ITX chassis, entitled Define Nano S. The new-comer features 412x344x203 mm dimensions, targeting mini-ITX motherboards with the maximum of two expansion slots. Customers will be able to acquire as a standard case with all blind panels, so a windowed version Define Nano S Window.



The model houses four seats for 2.5-/3.5-inch drives. Habitual 5.25-inch bays are absent. Interior spacing is sufficient for the installation of 160-mm high CPU coolers, 315-mm long video cards as well as typical ATX PS/2 power supply units. The reverse side of the motherboard tray hides a dedicated slot for efficient cable management.
