Asus Launches Top-Notch ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti Graphics Card

Asus is happy to introduce, upon its own statement, the most efficient graphics card based on Nvidia’s GTX 980 adapter. The ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti is by 18.7% faster than all other reference analogues. Its advantage in some gaming applications achieves stunning 21.6%. Besides, the customers are able to further boost its performance due to ROG GPU Tweak II utility.



Asus ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti employs an overclocked version of GM200-310 GPU. In OC gaming mode its clock frequencies make up 1216 MHz/1317 MHz (base/dynamic), whereas in Gaming mode these showings achieve 1190 MHz/1290 MHz margin. As far as memory is concerned, it’s introduced by GDDR5 modules (6 GB, 384-bit rail), running at 7200 MHz frequency.


Cooling is entrusted to DirectCU II cooler with direct touch technology and a pair of fans. The latter provide for the decrease of heat by 30% as well as triple cut of noise level, if compared with the reference cooler. Power is supplied via two 8-pin connectors.
