New Ultra-Compact NUC Systems, Namely NUC7i7DNKE and NUC7i7DNHE, Are on Their Way

In foreseeable future the Intel corporation plans to broaden its NUC compact systems range with two latest samples, constructed on the base of the Intel Core i7-8650U (4 cores/8 threads, 1.9/4.2 GHz) processor. The specialties will be released under the NUC7i7DNKE and NUC7i7DNHE code names. The only difference between them is the possession of the mount seat for the 2.5-inch drive by NUC7i7DNHE.
 
Both devices allow installing of two SO-DIMM DDR4-2400 RAM modules (the max volume is 32 GB) and one M.2 solid state drive. At the same time, these mini PCs feature the Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac wireless adapter. Among interfaces users may find four USB 3.0 ports, as well as two HDMI 2.0 video outputs, supporting 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
 
Speaking about approximate prices, we should note, that the configuration with the 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD and the Ubuntu OS will cost 710 USD. Shipments of the Intel NUC7i7DNKE system will start on the 30th of March, and the higher level NUC7i7DNHE model will enter the market on the 6th of April.
