BitFenix Offers Neos Chassis in 6 Color Variations

BitFenix Design Lab announces the release of a new PC chassis entitled Neos. Its major attraction is the availability of six different color versions of enclosures. Moreover, some of the models come with an acrylic window on the side panel but the others have a blind facet. Upon the whole, Neos boasts a durable steel case of 470x185x429 mm dimensions, featuring mid-tower form-factor.



BitFenix Neos is intended to support motherboards of ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX standard. The layout offers a couple of external 5.25-inch drive seats, three internal 3.5-inch drive seats, as well as three internal 2.5-inch drive seats. Expansion facilities are maintained by means of seven PCI expansion slots. It should be noted that the chassis’ layout presumes individual placement of bays for the drives, dedicated screwless mounting for ODD, and special apertures for cable management.

The Latest Eisbaer Nonmaintained Cooling Systems Series from Alphacool Includes Six Products with 120/140/240/280/360/420 mm Heatsinks

Alphacool introduced its latest Eisbaer line of nonmaintained cooling systems for processors. This series offers six products differing in heatsinks’ dimensions (120/140/240/280/360/420 mm) and possessing one, two or three 120 or 140 mm fans. For higher productivity, all novelties are equipped with copper (not aluminium) radiators.



360 and 420 mm heatsinks may be regarded as overeffective for one CPU, that’s why the manufacturer supplied Eisbaer cooling systems tubes with a quick disconnect, allowing adding a water block for the Eiswolf GPX-Pro graphics card. The processor is chilled by a copper water block with the 50 х 50 mm base and a low-noise ceramic bearing pump, operating at 2,600 rpm and producing the 70 l/h coolant stream.

Meeting Ballistix Elite DDR4 Memory from Micron Technology

As part of Crucial brand, Micron Technology comes out with a new generation of RAM – the Ballistix Elite DDR4. It is developed in a pure black PCB with a powerful heatspreader and an integrated thermal sensor. Initially, the company releases planks of 4 GB and 8 GB, although in retail sale the products will be available in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB kits. Pricing is unknown so far.



Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4 memory operates at 2666 MHz frequency and boasts 21 Gb/sec throughput index. Its power-efficient facilities are 40% better than those inherent in DDR3 models with analogous clock frequency. This makes gaming process a delight due to intense responsiveness, optimized latencies, and increased frame rates.
