Meet New Biostar Puro Hi-Fi with Advanced Audio Facilities

Biostar has just announced the release of motherboards from Puro Hi-Fi series. The series involves five models, two of which are delivered with Intel Core processors (second and third generation) for LGA 1155 CPU socket. The other three boards go with AMD A series CPUs for FM2 socket. In accordance with the company's words, the new products will be a pleasant surprise for all audio enthusiasts, providing a range of advanced audio facilities.



All motherboards included in Puro Hi-Fi series are equipped with highly efficient graphics that is compatible with all updated video outputs (DVI, HDMI), as well as with HDCP technology. The integration of PCI-e 3.0 x16 bus promotes for the enhancement of video performance and the creation of digital graphics AMD CrossFireX and Nvidia SLI configurations. Moreover, Biostar motherboards contain all later-day interfaces: SATA 3.0, LAN GbE, USB 3.0 ports.

The MSI Graphics Cards Product Range Is Enlarged with MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost 8G OC

The MSI vendor’s video cards model line-up is widened by another high-end specialty – MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost 8G OC.

 

The device is built on GPU AMD Vega 10 XT, supporting 4,096 streaming processors. Its reference frequency equals 1,272 MHz, and dynamic frequency reaches 1,575 MHz. We should remind, though, that the benchmark formula suggests a bit lower speed rates: 1,247 and 1,546 MHz in respect. In its turn, the 8 GB HBM2 memory operates at the 1,890 MHz reference effective velocity and due to the 2048-bit bus ensures the bandwidth capacity of 484 Gb/s.

 

MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost 8G OC hardware components conform with the Military Class 4 company concept. Chilling is provided by a two-slot cooler, possessing one radial-type fan, which draws air outside the chassis. The video adapter has one HDMI and three DisplayPort ports, and it requires linking of two 8-pin PCIe connectors for stable work.

ASRock FM2A88M-HD+ to Support the Latest AMD Kaveri APUs

ASRock has recently announced a new series of motherboards that are based on the prime-class AMD A88X chipset, targeting Socket FM2(+) CPUs of Trinity and Richland generation. Moreover, they are supposed to support the new-gen AMD Kaveri APUs with Steamroller microarchitecture. One of the most outstanding models within the series is FM2A88M-HD+ motherboard, which features a large amount of slots and sockets. At the same time, it remains a cost-efficient solution.



ASRock FM2A88M-HD+ is designed in a micro-ATX form-factor, featuring 234x183 mm dimensions. The company claims that this model is able to accommodate DDR3 RAM with 2133 MHz frequency, housed in two DIMM slots. Therein, the maximal memory capacity might achieve 32 GB. Hardware base consists of prime-quality solid-state capacitors and durable chokes. Three expansion slots are introduced by one PCI, one PCIe 2.0 x1, and one high-speed PCIe 3.0 x16; the latter demonstrates up to 15.75 Mb/sec bandwidth.
