LG Introduces Cinema 4K 31MU97 PC Monitor

Graphic designers, photo editors and fans of prime-quality imaging are now pleased by the future release of a new professional PC monitor from LG, codenamed 31MU97. The model belongs to Cinema 4K generation, providing for the best viewing/work experience. It is based on 31-inch IPS panel with 17:9 aspect ratio and features an industry-leading Digital Cinema 4K 4096x2160 pixels resolution. The release date will be announced shortly.



LG 31MU97 boasts 97% color gamut in DCI-P3 environment and up to 99.5% gamut in Adobe RGB environment. In order to cover the most colors, the display employs 10-bit presentation. The integrated IPS panel ensures the widest viewing angles (178 degrees H/V) and the highest dynamic contrast – 1M:1. In addition, a large screen area allows users to include more tools and several windows into the working area.

Cougar Intros Power-Saving PSU Series GX-S

Cougar has recently introduced a new power-saving PSU series codenamed GX-S. The series includes three high-efficiency models which meet the requirements of 80Plus Gold standard: GX-S 400W, GX-S 500W and GX-S 600W. Cougar promises that the products will be available in free sale already in early April. All three PSUs are housed in a black casing with golden logo and accommodate high-quality Japanese capacitors that ensure utmost performance and reliability.



Cougar GX-S series employs LLC technologies which are called to reduce the power loss on Off/On activities. The models also feature a power-saving framework to comply with Eco-Friendly EuP, ErP Lot6 and Energy Star 5.0 standards. Hence, the units consume less than 0.9W in ‘Off’ mode. Gainward GameSoul GeForce GTX 1080/1070 Graphics Cards Got the Factory Overclocking

GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070 GameSoul series graphics accelerators by Gainward are ready for release. These products are meant for powerful game-playing machines and VR systems.



Graphics cards are based on the 16 nm NVIDIA GP104 chip with Pascal architecture. The GeForce GTX 1080 model has 2,560 streaming processors, 160 TMU and 64 ROP. The card features 8 GB of GDDR5X memory with a 256-bit bus.


In its turn, GeForce GTX 1070 comprises 1,920 streaming processors, 120 TMU and 64 ROP. The volume of the GDDR5 memory with a 256- bit bus equals to 8 GB.


Both novelties possess the factory overclocking. The GeForce GTX 1080 chip core base clock is raised from 1,607 MHz to 1,733 MHz, the augmented frequency — from 1,733 MHz to 1,873 MHz. The GeForce GTX 1070 version frequencies boosted from 1,506 MHz to 1,620 MHz and from 1,683 MHz to 1,822 MHz.
