SilentStorm Icewind Power Supply Units by Sharkoon Possess 80 Plus Bronze Energy Performance Certificates

The German Sharkoon Company has announced the release of its new SilentStorm Icewind supply units family. This line includes three models with the 550, 650 and 750 W nominal power, featuring semi modular cables connection and 80 Plus Bronze energy performance certificates.



These supply boxes are able to put out 100% of their nominal-rated power at 12 V. SilentStorm Icewind products are secured from abnormal modes. The 135 mm fan, built on the ball bearing with automatic rotary speed control depending on the supply unit load, chills the devices.


Among other peculiarities of Sharkoon specialties, we should distinguish the nylon-weave cables cover and the availability of two colour variants (black and white).


SilentStorm Icewind supply units weigh 1.83 kg and have the following dimensions: 150х160х86 mm. The manufacturer protects its novelties with a three-year warranty. 550, 650 and 750 W samples got the €70, €75 and €80 recommended price marks.
