At Present ASRock Is Ready to Release DeskMini GTX, the 2.7 l mini PC Housing the GeForce GTX 1080 Card

Last year the ASRock manufacturer added RX and GTX samples to the DeskMini PCs family. These small-size products are able to hold Radeon RX 480 and GeForce GTX 1060 discrete video cards in the form of MXM modules.

The ASRock company decided to develop its DeskMini RX/GTX models further and constructed a similar mini PC, housing the GeForce GTX 1080 3D card.

Now the dimensions are not much larger and make 213 х 154.5 х 81.9 mm (corresponding to 2.7 l). The great news is that the specialty can be equipped with GeForce GTX 1060, GTX 1070 and even GTX 1080 graphics accelerators! Presumably, the CPUs list includes the 6th and 7th generations Intel processors up to Core i7 with the 65 W TDP.

ASRock mini PCs can obtain 32 GB of RAM. Two 2.5-inch and three M.2 drives (Optane storage devices among them) can be installed. Connectivity is provided by the Gigabit Ethernet, USB-C 3.1, three USB 3.1, two USB 2.0, two HDMI and two DisplayPort ports.

Palit Showcases GeForce GTX 750 and 750 Ti Adapters from StormX Series

In less than a couple of days the whole galaxy of graphics cards manufacturers has launched their products, based on Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 and 750 Ti GPUs. Palit is not an exception. It has unveiled three proprietary versions of cards, codenamed GeForce GTX 750 StormX OC, GeForce GTX 750 Ti StormX OC, GeForce GTX 750 Ti StormX Dual. The triple boasts a substantial factory overclocking and the implementation of a brand new cooling design.

Palit GeForce GTX 750 StormX OC is based on a fresh Nvidia GM107-300 (Maxwell architecture) GPU. Its nominal and dynamic frequency has been boosted from 1020/1085 MHz to 1085/1163 MHz correspondingly. The improvement has touched also video memory (1 GB GDDR5): its nominal and efficient frequency has been raised from 1250/5000 MHz to 1275/5100 MHz. The incorporation of StormX cooler with TurboFan Blade 80 mm fan ensures that all internal components preserved optimal thermal conditions.

Be Quiet! Silent Loop: A Powerful Liquid Cooler for Powerful CPUs

Be Quiet! made a personal breakthrough in cooling area. The company has developed the first in its signature lineup liquid cooler targeting high-efficient CPUs. The Silent Loop supports all up-to-date as well as outdated platforms, including AMD FM1/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM2/FM2+ & Intel Socket LGA2011-3/2011/1366/115x/775. The cooler is ready to dissipate up to 400 W power; hence, it might be integrated within overclocking and gaming systems.

The model is a combination of a water block, patch cables (up to 390 mm in length), a heatsink (319x144x30 mm), and a pair of 140-mm fans (Pure Wings 2). At first sight, the layout is standard. However, the cooler features a range of interesting technical solutions. For example, it houses an isolated reverse pump which ensures low noise level & minimal level of vibrations. The reverse stream technology enables the injection of a coolant from the external counter to the internal one via a cooling plate. This is called to enhance heat …

Developers of modern gaming applications make every effort to the story and physics of the games as realistic as possible. In turn, fans of gaming are trying to "squeeze" the maximum from your PC and to this end establish a special PhysX accelerator. Latest optimize gameplay, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the fictional world of adventure.

PhysX accelerator is a microprocessor relieves computational burden of physical effects in games from the CPU. For all its capabilities, this chip may be useless to the end user if support is absent in a particular gaming application. To use the processor in the game physics engine PhysX SDK, which is installed on the computer in the form of drivers for the PhysX accelerators.

CPU PhysX was developed by Ageia, which was subsequently acquired by Nvidia, is one of the leading manufacturers of graphics cards. Now all the reserves of the accelerator are presented in the form of a set of technologies that Nvidia equips its products.

Despite the replacement of hardware and software, this technology aims to optimize the game's physics to provide a realistic interaction environments and accelerate performance thanks to the unprecedented capabilities of parallel computing. As a result, gamers get more vivid impressions of the game. In addition, if you download drivers for PhysX accelerators, it is possible to minimize the delay and gaps of frame in dynamic games that allows the user to become a party to the action.
