Deepcool Intros Dual-Fan GamerStorm Assassin II CPU Cooler

Deepcool Industries comes out with the second revision of Assassin CPU cooler. The GamerStorm Assassin II is a dual-fan solution intended for hard-core users with thirst for utmost performance and noiseless operation. The model is compatible with most of AMD and Intel platforms, including AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2/FM2+ & LGA 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011/2011-v3.



Featuring 167x158x143 mm dimensions, the new-comer complies with all up-to-date requirements for high-end PC builds. Its framework comprises two aluminum heatsink blocks, consisting of 48 fins which are connected by means of eight nickel-plated heatpipes (6 mm each).


This cooler comes with two integrated fans, both based on fluid-dynamic bearing. The first 140 mm model is able to rotate at 300-1200 RPM with the maximal produced airflow of 70.08 CFM; it noise level fluctuates between 17.8-27.3 dB range. Crucial is about to launch a new series of voluminous SSDs, entitled MX300. The lineup consists of 2.5-inch models with thin cases (7 mm only), targeting as desktop so mobile platforms. Additionally, the delivery set offers a dedicated 2.5-inch frame for the installation into a 9.5-inch bay. The capacity of drives makes up 275 GB, 525 GB, 750 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB.



SSDs Crucial MX300 is developed on 32-layer Micron 3D NAND TLC chips (48 GB) as well as Marvell 88SS1074 controller. Data transfer process is realized via SATA III (6 Gb/sec) interface. The maximal sequential Read/Write speed equals to 530 MB/sec/510 MB/sec. In its turn, the maximal random data transfer index approximates 83.000/92.000 IOPS (Read/Write).

Mushkin Enhanced is about to launch a new series of top-tier SSDs within the framework of Reactor series. The series, represented by three models of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB capacity, is targeting up-to-date gaming and high-performance systems. The greenhorns are developed in 2.5-inch form-factor with 7 mm thickness only and SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface.



Mushkin Reactor drives take Silicon Motion SM2246EN controller in cooperation with MLC NAND flash-memory as the basis.
