Microsoft to Come Out with Surface Studio All-in-One PC

Microsoft has unveiled its first all-in-one PC – Microsoft Surface Studio. Featuring 28-inch PixelSense touch-screen with 4500x3000 pixels resolution, the new-comer is primarily targeting designers, animators and other graphics specialists. The display features 3:2 aspect ratio & 192 PPI. Besides, it offers multi-touch facilities (up to 10 simultaneous touches), supporting calibration in Adobe sRGB & DCI-P3 color environments (there is a possibility to switch between them).

It should be noted that the hardware is housed within the block’s base. The stand provides for multiple adjustments in order to achieve the ultimate viewing experience. The model is developed on Intel Core i5/i7 Skylake CPU which is accompanied by 8/16/32 GB RAM and either Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M (2 GB) or Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M (4 GB) GDDR5 graphics.

1250/1050 W Enermax MaxTytan Power Supplies Are 80 Plus Titanium Certified and Equipped with a Watt-Hour Meter

The Enermax company releases two new MaxTytan series power supplies of 1050 and 1250 W rated capacity. These products are 80 Plus Titanium certified and are highlighted due to the presence of the watt-hour meter in their construction, which monitors current system energy consumption.

The Enermax specialties are equipped with high temperature (105°C) capacitors, produced in Japan, and are protected from various abnormal modes. Through a 12V circuit the upper model can provide up to 104 А (1,248 W), and the lower sample — up to 87.5 А (1,050 W). Peak bearable power of these devices is 1,375 and 1,155 W.

Enermax MaxTytan components are chilled by 140 mm fans, based on Twister bearing. The fans start rotating only after load overcomes 70% of nominal power. The supply kit contains the CoolerGenie fan controller, allowing to enable chilling only after power consumption exceeds 40/55% of rated values. Kingston Digital, a global designer of data storage and memory solutions, announces the release of a cost-effective SSD to extend V300 series. Codenamed Kingston SSDNow V300, the drives are intended specifically for cost-conscious consumers looking to upgrade their desktop or mobile systems. Under the claimed data, the new drives are ten times faster than standard HDDs and feature outstanding speed characteristics, where the spindle achieves 7200 rpm.

Kingston SSDNow V300 is based on SandForce SF-2281 controller and employs SATA 3 interface. The manufacturer offers its new products in three variations of 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacity.
