The Transcend Information Co. reported the release of the StoreJet 200 Portable Hard Drive, built for Apple computers.

 

Transcend StoreJet 200 is enclosed into the stylish aluminum alloy framework, being rather lightweight. Being only 9.95 mm thick, the device weighs 133 g. StoreJet 200 is ready for operation out-of-box. It is formatted in the Mac-oriented HFS+ file system. The novelty capacity equals 2 TB.

 

This Transcend Information product has a USB-С port, which enables data transfer at the speed of up to 5 Gbps. The supply kit includes a cable with a USB-С connector, as well as a cable with USB-С and USB-А connectors.

 

Among key specs of this specialty one may notice the Time Machine function support, providing the opportunity of utilizing the device as a backing store. Gigabyte Brix GB-Bace-3160 accommodates a 4-core Intel Celeron J3160 CPU (14 nm) that operates at 1.6/2.24 GHz frequency; it is accompanied by an integrated Intel HD Graphics 400 graphics core (320-700 MHz frequency). The PCB houses only a single SO-DIMM slot for the installation of DRR3L-1600 memory.
