A new series of Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB power units is about to see the world. It hasn’t even been announced on the official site of the manufacturer yet. This series includes three models with a capacity of 650, 750 и 850 W, all of which feature one powerful +12V line, the up-to-date circuitry and the element base of high quality. That’s why these samples are effective and marked with a 80 PLUS Gold certificate.



The three models of the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB series use fully modular cable system with handy flat sleeves. Besides, 650 W and 750 W versions are equipped with nine SATA and four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors. In its turn the 850 W model offers ten SATA and six PCIe connectors.


The cooling system embodies a 140 mm fan with 256-colour RGB-lighting, managed through the DPS G PC App. Thermaltake recommends to install these power units with a fan on the top. This is expected to lower the temperature inside the power unit and the chassis by 3°С. …

The major difference lies in an efficient cooling system and production overclocking. The first model, marked as Inno3D GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost iChill, is equipped with a highly efficient cooler ‘iChill’ and features 7% production overclocking. The other model, marked as Inno3D GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost, comes without overclocked frequencies, although its hardware components promote for the conducting of various clock frequency tests.
