Unlike the majority of rivals which made it to introduce one or two graphics adapters based on the GeForce GTX 1080 GPU, MSI decided to cover all segments. The company launched six new videocards, based on the Nvidia’s latest development. Each model combines a one-off design with rich functional, allowing gamers of all kinds to find an uncompromising solution. The full list of items includes: GTX 1080 SEA HAWK, GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G, GTX Armor 8G, GTX 1080 Armor 8G OC, GTX 1080 Aero 8G, and GTX 1080 Aero 8G OC.



All new-comers take Nvidia GP104-400 GPU as the basis (Pascal, 16 nm). The core features 2560 CUDA, 160 TMUs & 64 ROPs. It operates at 1607-1708 MHz frequency (base) with the possibility to overclock up to 1733-1847 MHz frequency (dynamic). The cards employ GDDR5X memory (8 GB, 256-bit bus) which nominal clock frequency makes up 2502 -2527 MHz and efficient index achieves some stunning 10100-10108 MHz.

Lenovo ThinkPad LT3053p: Monitor with a Protection Shell



Lenovo is going to launch an unusual PC monitor, codenamed ThinkPad LT3053p. It wouldn’t be so unusual if it had standard construction, but the manufacturer decided to equip the case with a dedicated protection shell. This shell protects the screen from third-party light engines which can deteriorate or distort the imaging. Thus, the product is to catch fancy of professional users who require accurate imaging and color rendering.


ThinkPad LT3053p is a 30-inch display with 2560x1600 pixels resolution. The monitor is based on AH-IPS array type that ensures all outstanding viewing facilities: the maximal number of displayed colors – 1.07 billion, response time – 6 ms, viewing angles – 178/178 both across and down, the maximal brightness level – 350 cd/m2, static contrast – 1000:1. Moreover, the implementation of an advanced array resulted in 100% sRGB and 99% AdobeRGB color environment sweep.

BenQ Promotes a New PC Monitor with 1 ms Response Time

BenQ, a Taiwanese developer of diversified PC equipment, promotes its new monitor that will be released later this year. Codenamed RL2455HM, the model replenishes 'RL' gaming series and is primarily intended for the connection with gaming consoles. Thus, it might become a perfect tool for the devotees of dynamic shooters and other console games.



BenQ RL2455HM features 24-inch display and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is characterized by Full HD resolution (1920x1080), 60 Hz scanning, wide viewing angles (170 degrees vertical, 160 degrees horizontal), and high dynamic contrast ratio that achieves 12 million to 1 index. This monitor employs TN panel but can boast quite an outstanding response time: on gray-to-gray switch, array response time equals to 1 ms only. This is a dramatic breakthrough, if compared with the majority of other gaming displays that demonstrate from 4 to 7 ms time.
