Codenamed R9 270X IceQ X2 Turbo Boost Clock, the model is characterized by an overclocked core frequency and the implementation of an efficient two-slot IceQ X2 cooler. The GPU is designed under Graphics Core Next architecture, supports the latest DirectX 11.2 technology and offers 2.5 times higher performance. EK Water Blocks has announced a full-cover water block for Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cards, called EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix.



The EKWB specialty effectively draws heat from the GPU, memory chips and voltage controller. It is designed according to the scheme with cooling liquid streamflow separation. Due to low hydrodynamic resistance this product is compatible with weak pumps.


The water block base is produced out of copper and nickel-plated, and the lid is made out of acrylic plastic or POM Acetal material (depending on the version). The transparent lid has two openings for 3 mm LEDs. The manufacturer also marks the presence of the décor overlay with a 3D card name, which covers ports for tubes connection.
