MMD, a licensed developer of PC monitors under Philips brand, has recently announced the release of a new high-end model: the 28-inch 284E5QHAD. The model is differentiated not only by a large display, unprecedented viewing experience and an astonishing design, but also by the availability of inbuilt speakers of 14 W power (7 W each). According to MMD, the product is an ideal means for web surfing, photo/video viewing, and management of power-intensive graphics design applications. Philips 284E5QHAD is based on MVA panel, accompanied by W-LED backlit. The panel guarantees image production in Full HD resolution, as well as a lot of other valuable specifications: wide viewing angles (176/176 degrees H/V), the support for SmartContrast technology that ensures 20M:1 dynamic contrast index, the maximal brightness of 300 cd/m2, and the maximal number of displayed colors – 16.7 million.
