The Four New Models of Monitors Constituting the EliteDisplay Line by HP

HP has released four models of monitors, constituting the EliteDisplay series. All samples obtained IPS-panels with the 3840 х 2160 pixels resolution, three of them got USB-C ports.

 

The most affordable model is called EliteDisplay S270n. It costs $550 and features the 27-inch matrix, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 1300:1 contrast and the 14 ms response time. This display has no USB-C port and no USB hub embedded. The stand allows adjusting height in the range of 10 cm and tilt angle (from -5 to +23°). There are also three ports for video signal connection: DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0.

 

EliteDisplay Z27, Z32 (supplied with the 31.5” panel) and Z43 (42.5”) novelties possess common external, as well as the interface set, including DisplayPort 1.2, Mini DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C. Owners of Z27 and Z32 may use benefits of the three ports USB 3.0 hub, and those acquiring Z43 get a five port USB hub alongside.

Iiyama Launches X4070UHS Monitor with an Unusual Base

Iiyama Corp. is not used to sit idly, delivering ever newer visual solutions. This time the company launches a 39.5-inch PC monitor with a nontrivial stand. The ProLite X4070UHS model rests on two demountable racks, instead of a single central column. Nevertheless, the display supports well-loved facilities, such as Picture-in-Picture mode and POP (split of the screen into four windows). It features a pure black case and a high gloss screen coating.



Iiyama X4070UHS is based on MVA panel with LED backlight. It is thought to support Ultra HD/4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels) as well as 5000:1 static contrast. Besides, the model ensures 350 cd/m2 brightness, the display of 16.7 million colors, the widest possible viewing angles (178/178 degrees in both aspects), and ultrafast response time – 4 ms (GtG environment).

ASUS Introduces the ROG Rampage VI Apex X299 Mоtherbоard

Happy to inform the fans of ASUS, that it has recently intrоduced its flagship socket LGA2066 motherboard for Intel Core X processors, the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Rampage VI Apex. Despite the fact it wаs built in the ATX form-fаctor, the PCB of the Rampage VI Apex has an аsymmеtric pоlygonal dеsign. It gets pоwer from a grеat number of connеctors to stabilize each of its pоwer domаins. Among which we can mention the 24-pin ATX, two 8-pin EPS, a 4-pin ATX, and a 6-pin PCIe pоwer. Pоwer is cоnditiоned for the CPU using a hіgh-current VRM.


It is cооled by the VRM hеatsink. But thеre is also a sеcondary hеatsink blоck undеr the I/O shrоud, to whіch hеat is cоnveyed by a hеat-pіpe.
