ECS is going to release a new high-performance motherboard of Black Series line that supports AMD CPUs. Codenamed A970M-A Deluxe, it is compatible with AM3/AM3+ APU and is characterized by the integration of the latest technological facilities which provide for efficiency, reliability, and ease of use. The model is developed on the basis of AMD 970 chipset; this is supposed to ensure the maximal performance generated by the newest processors, and at the same time, the compatibility with the previous developments. Moreover, A970M-A Deluxe completely supports Windows 8 platform and a range of refined technologies, including EZ BIOS, UEFI BIOS, ECS MIB X, 8-channel audio HD and Anti-Dust Shield Technology.

The Microchip Technology Co. has presented a new family of eight-bit PIC microcontrollers with core-independent peripherals. Among common features of these models one can highlight the presence of the internal frequency generator (32 MHz) and the memory boot partition security mechanism meant for protection from the faulty rerecording. Moreover, there is a secure device information area (DIA) storing the device unique identifier and calibration constants. The just-launched controllers are supported by the Microchip MPLAB Xpress with MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) framework.

Dell, an acclaimed manufacturer of displays, laptops and other consumer electronics, announces the start of sales of its newest PC monitor, codenamed E2214H. The model features 22-inch display and is based on TN panel type with hard coating. The latter ensures the 1920x1080 Full HD output resolution and quite speedy array response time – 5 ms. Additionally, the product is equipped with a rear LED that stays on the guard of power consumption. The E2214H is already available in the Japanese market for a recommended price of about $170.
