GEIL DDR4 SUPER LUCE RGB Review: Black or White?

Introduction

All over the world this company is well known to computer enthusiasts, first of all, as a professional manufacturer of RAM. In the assortment of the company, we are interested in the DDR4 Super Luce modules from the Gaming Series. In the design of these kits, iLUCE Thermal-beaming technology is used, the main purpose of which is to visualize the temperature regime of the modules. The rate of pulsation of the illumination varies with the increase of the temperature. The models are equipped with illumination of various colors.

The manufacturer has kits from two or four modules with a volume of 4, 8 and 16 GB. The frequencies of the sets are from 2133 to 3866 MHz. Also, you can choose options for highlighting: blue, red, white or RGB. But this is not all: there are modules with both black and white textolite. In addition, the radiator itself can be black or white. These options within a single line can not be found at all manufacturers.

Asus Showcases a Multi-Feature PB279Q Monitor

The first 4K Ultra HD monitors cost a pretty penny for real enthusiasts. Sometimes the price tag approximated several thousand dollars! Asus PB279Q is powered by a high-quality IPS array with a 10-bit color mapping depth. It ensures the widest possible viewing angles (178/178 degrees), 100% color gamut in sRGB environment, and 5 ms response time. The latter allows for the prime imaging in action games and movies. The display features 16:9 aspect ratio and 3840x2160 pixels resolution on DisplayPort/mini-DisplayPort connection. Meet Small-Sized QC5000M Mainboard from ASRock

ASRock enters the mainboard market with a new micro-ATX solution, entitled QC5000M. The greenhorn takes Kabini platform as the basis, featuring AMD A4-5000 hybrid processor (28 nm) with 4 Jaguar cores and 1.5 GHz clock frequency. The APU is accompanied by two slots for one-channel DDR3-1600 MHz RAM (up to 32 GB) and an integrated AMD Radeon HD 8330 graphics (500 MHz clock frequency, compatibility with DirectX 11.1 standard).



The implemented APU boasts 15 W TDP only, requiring a small-sized heatsink for efficient cooling. The model takes power via 24-pin ATX connector and is based on AMD A68 chipset.
