The Kingston A1000 SSDs Are Compatible with Almost Any Computing System, Possessing the M.2 Key M Interface

During the CES 2018 event Kingston demonstrated the Kingston A1000 SSDs of the 22 × 80 mm size. The devices may seem rather massive at first sight, however, they may be installed into most systems with the M.2 Key M interface.

 

A1000 is not expected to be very cheap, though it will be affordable for a major part of customers. Kingston developers tried to save on A1000 components for their products to be sold well. The novelties feature the PCI Express 3.0 x2 interface, the 3D TLC NAND flash memory and a controller unnamed. Besides, the NVMe 1.3 support is declared.

 

According to the Iometer app testing, IOPS equals 190 286 (read) and 202 151 (write). The A1000 Sequential read/write speeds overcome analogous SATA SSD rates: the top 960 GB drive has the 1,623 MBps read speed and the 1,040 MBps write speed. The best SSDs, equipped with the SATA 6 Gbps interface, show lower velocities, not coming up to 600 MBps.

Asus Launches a Wide Range of Nvidia Maxwell-Based Adapters

Asus is the one to introduce the largest assortment of graphics adapters based on a fresh Nvidia Maxwell GPU. The range of suggested products involves two models from Asus GeForce GTX 750 series and three models from Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti series. All five new-comers are differentiated by an ameliorated PCB design with the incorporation of Super Alloy Power components.



The GTX 750 series consists of GTX750-PH-1GD5 and GTX750-PHOC-1GD5 cards. Both of them come with an integrated Nvidia GM107-300 GPU, equipped with 512 CUDA cores. The first model operates at 1020 MHz/1085 MHz (nominal/boost) frequency, whereas its companion runs at 1059 MHz/1137 MHz. They employ 1 GB of GDDR5 memory, demonstrating 1252 MHz/5010 MHz (nominal/efficient) frequency. The cards also have an identical video interface panel that embraces one HDMI, one D-Sub, and one DVI-D port.

ASUS Introduces the ROG Rampage VI Apex X299 Mоtherbоard

Happy to inform the fans of ASUS, that it has recently intrоduced its flagship socket LGA2066 motherboard for Intel Core X processors, the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Rampage VI Apex.
