Welcome the Jonsbo CR-301 Cooler with Vertical Airflow

The Chinese Jonsbo Co. is a pro at highlighting its cooling systems solutions design particulars with the help of extraordinary outward appearance and the backlighting embedded. The novelty, available in a black and white version, weighs 890 g, has the dimensions of 128 × 138 × 135 mm and the 135 W TDP rate.



CR-301 is built on the two-section heatsink with fins perpendicular to the base. Fans blow over а CPU connector area. The contact plate and 6 mm heat pipes are made of copper, and the radiator is manufactured out of aluminium.


Speaking about fans we should note, they are mounted on the heatsink pieces through the use of screws. The PWM adjustable rotary velocity of these 120 × 120 × 25 mm devices lies in the range of 600–1600 rpm. The noise level claimed is 18–25 dBA. On top of everything, fans are backlighted.

The Latest Eisbaer Nonmaintained Cooling Systems Series from Alphacool Includes Six Products with 120/140/240/280/360/420 mm Heatsinks

Alphacool introduced its latest Eisbaer line of nonmaintained cooling systems for processors. This series offers six products differing in heatsinks’ dimensions (120/140/240/280/360/420 mm) and possessing one, two or three 120 or 140 mm fans. For higher productivity, all novelties are equipped with copper (not aluminium) radiators.



360 and 420 mm heatsinks may be regarded as overeffective for one CPU, that’s why the manufacturer supplied Eisbaer cooling systems tubes with a quick disconnect, allowing adding a water block for the Eiswolf GPX-Pro graphics card. The processor is chilled by a copper water block with the 50 х 50 mm base and a low-noise ceramic bearing pump, operating at 2,600 rpm and producing the 70 l/h coolant stream.

ASRock Launches Z170M-PIO2 Mainboard with Unusual Layout

ASRock has stricken the general public by the development of a motherboard with an extraordinary layout. As a rule, mainboards targeting all-in-one solutions are void of expansion slots for graphics cards, due to lack of space. However, ASRock has designed a space-efficient model with an integrated PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot. Yet, it’s localized parallel to the PCB as against standard items with perpendicular slot orientation.



ASRock Z170M-PIO2 is based on Intel Z170 chipset for Socket LGA1511 platforms. It supports Intel Celeron/Pentium/Core i3/Core i5/Core i7 CPUs. The PCB features a pair of DIMM slots for the installation of DDR4 memory modules with the maximum clock frequency of 3466 MHz (up to 32 GB of capacity).
