GamerStorm Baronkase Liquid – A Case with a Cooling System

Introduction

The case of GamerStorm Liquid is focused on the wide circle of customers, using the Captain 120EX liquid cooler in combination with a compact design. Thanks to its metal and glass exterior, and also RGB-elements, Baronkase Liquid becomes a very interesting competitor in the market.



BARONKASE LIQUID is a new compact all-metal case with an upper compartment for the power supply and an integrated liquid cooling system based on a 120mm radiator that supports the installation of ATX form factor motherboards. Allows the installation of full-format video cards after removing the branded metal plug on the rear panel. BARONKASE LIQUID is equipped with a multi-channel illumination system with a manual knob on the front panel. The side panel of tempered glass, fixed with screws with soft washers, opens the view of the inner space of the case.

ASRock FM2A88M-HD+ to Support the Latest AMD Kaveri APUs

ASRock has recently announced a new series of motherboards that are based on the prime-class AMD A88X chipset, targeting Socket FM2(+) CPUs of Trinity and Richland generation. Moreover, they are supposed to support the new-gen AMD Kaveri APUs with Steamroller microarchitecture. One of the most outstanding models within the series is FM2A88M-HD+ motherboard, which features a large amount of slots and sockets. At the same time, it remains a cost-efficient solution.



ASRock FM2A88M-HD+ is designed in a micro-ATX form-factor, featuring 234x183 mm dimensions. The company claims that this model is able to accommodate DDR3 RAM with 2133 MHz frequency, housed in two DIMM slots. Therein, the maximal memory capacity might achieve 32 GB. Hardware base consists of prime-quality solid-state capacitors and durable chokes. Three expansion slots are introduced by one PCI, one PCIe 2.0 x1, and one high-speed PCIe 3.0 x16; the latter demonstrates up to 15.75 Mb/sec bandwidth.

The Galatico Chassis by Akasa Resembles a Big CPU Cooler

Akasa, the taiwan manufacturer of compact PC cases and reasonably priced cooling systems, has unveiled its plans to release a modern Galatico chassis for Intel NUC systems, compatible with the compact Intel NUC NUC6i7KYK computer.



This product is remarkable for aluminium lips on each side, which act as a heatsink for the processing unit. Four copper heat pipes transfer heat from the 45 W Intel Core i7-6770HQ (4 cores/8 threads, 2.6/3.5 GHz, Iris Pro Graphics 580) CPU to the framework. All case components are produced with the use of aluminium, so Galatico can be called a huge CPU cooler. Inner structure offers a seat for a 2.5-inch drive. The dimensions of the specialty are 383 х 213 х 93 mm.


The front and back interface ports sets correspond to Intel NUC mini PC slots, excluding the card reader slot.


Unfortunately, the exact price and retail starting date are unknown, but, presumably, Akasa Galatico will cost $300–400.
