Sharp Promises to Start Selling Its PN-K321 Betimes

Official announcement of a new professional monitor from Sharp earlier in November grasped all analysts and customers into anticipation. This was dictated by the fact that PN-K321 (the codename of a new model) was claimed to employ IGZO semiconductors in their framework. The implementation of IGZO technology implied the launch of a product with a really high resolution. Sharp managed to successfully introduce this technological 'know-how' into its monitor and claimed the maximal resolution for PN-K321: 3840x2160.



Sharp PN-K321 features 32-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is known to support Ultra HD format that is still rarity in this segment. The display is based on IGZO semiconductors that are a combination of indium, gallium, oxide and zinc. They ensure wide viewing angles and brilliant color rendering. Brightness index is recorded at 250 cd/m2.

Toshiba will increase the capacity of hard drives up to 600 terabytes

Toshiba is engaged in improving the existing hard drives in order to increase their capacity. Limited to several tens of terabytes, Japanese do not want to stop — they need at least 600 terabytes in a single 3.5-inch drive. To do this, Toshiba uses all the tools and opportunities, including temporary cooperation with companies, competitors, TDK, and Showa Denko KK.



The newly formed trio of producers focuses on the development of new technologies of recording information on magnetic media and improvement of existing methods. Alliance sees great prospective in the technology of the so-called «two-dimensional magnetic recording» (TDMR). It is experimental, but using, it is quite achievable to record density of 10 terabits per square inch, which thus gives the capacity of 600 terabytes in a single hard drive.


Of course, no one talks about the chances of such a capacious storage in the foreseeable future — Toshiba and its partners will have more than one year of research …

Delux Launches New Gaming Chassis MZ407

Delux Technology, a renowned developer of various hardware items and peripherals, launches a new PC chassis MZ407 targeting gamers. The model features 450x192x435 mm dimensions and is able to support motherboards of ATX or micro-ATX standard, PSUs of ATX form-factor, and up to seven PCI expansion cards. In retail sale the chassis will be available in three design variations: in Navy Blue coloring, in Army Green military style, and in classic Black coloring.



I/O panel has got quite an unusual lay-out: it’s located on a sloped joint of the top and frontal facets. This panel boasts standard 3.5 mm audio slots (for headphones/microphone), USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, as well as cooling system/backlight control switch.
