Be Quiet! Silent Loop: A Powerful Liquid Cooler for Powerful CPUs

Be Quiet! made a personal breakthrough in cooling area. The company has developed the first in its signature lineup liquid cooler targeting high-efficient CPUs. The Silent Loop supports all up-to-date as well as outdated platforms, including AMD FM1/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM2/FM2+ & Intel Socket LGA2011-3/2011/1366/115x/775. The cooler is ready to dissipate up to 400 W power; hence, it might be integrated within overclocking and gaming systems.



The model is a combination of a water block, patch cables (up to 390 mm in length), a heatsink (319x144x30 mm), and a pair of 140-mm fans (Pure Wings 2). At first sight, the layout is standard. Ryzen CPUs Raised AMD’s Proceeds Up to $984 Mln

Lately Advanced Micro Devices has unveiled its financial results report for the present year’s first quarter. The Ryzen processors release let the vendor raise its proceeds figure up to $984 mln, which surpasses the previous year’s corresponding sum by 18%. Simultaneously, the manufacturer’s net loss ratio has decreased from $109 mln in Q1 2016 to $73 mln at present.



The Computing and Graphics subdivision, being responsible for processors and graphics solutions retail, made the company richer by $593 mln. Comparing to the relevant period last year, profit of this business has got bigger by 29%, which is mostly due to high level of desktop processors and discrete graphics cards sales.

Enermax Puts on Sale Its New CPU Cooler Entitled ETS-T40-TAV

Enermax Technology Corporation, an established Taiwanese designer of multiple PC components, has already put on sale its newest cooler ETS-T40-TAV. The novel is predestined to supply enough cooling effect to CPU and its adjacent elements. The product is developed in Tower-type form-factor, featuring 139x93x160 mm dimensions, and is compatible with CPUs which TDP level does not exceed 200W. The following CPU sockets fall under this category: Intel LGA 775/1155/1156/1366/2011 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+.



Model ETS-T40-TAV consists of a voluminous aluminum heatsink, four heat pipes (6 mm each) which support direct contact technology, and a single 120 mm fan. The fan, entitled TB Appolish PWM, is based on Twister bearing, while its operation is controlled by PWM technology. PWM enables the speed variation from 800 RPM to 1800 RPM, depending on the loading.
