Cryorig Readies a Pair of Uncanny Ola & Taku Chassis

Cryorig, a renowned designer of CPU coolers & fans, decided to expand its expertise by developing a couple of one-off PC chassis – the Ola and the Taku. Both greenhorns are differentiated by an extraordinary design, a far cry from traditional tower-cases. They are thought to support mini-ITX motherboards and come with a pair of drive bays (2.5-/3.5-inch). The models will be promulgated within the framework of the Computex 2016.



Presumably, Cryorig Ola’s cylindrical case features 378.5x226x205 mm dimensions. Cryorig Taku positions itself as a monitor stand, featuring 567x270x134.8 mm dimensions. Their internal layout allows for the installation of SFX power supply units (130-mm long) as well as 280/240-mm long videocards. Both models are targeting all modern as well as outdated platforms, including Intel LGA 115x/LGA 1366/LGA 2011/LGA 2011-v3 & AMD FM1/FM2/FM2+/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+. Zalman HQ720 & HQ740 feature a high-performance heatsink, made of aluminum. It is accompanied by a copper pump (62x62x35 mm) that operates at 12V voltage. Its MTBF makes up 75.000 hours. The integrated water pump consists of micro-channels and a pair of hoses.

Dell’s lineup of wide-screen monitors has been replenished by a new model – the UltraSharp U2917W. It is designed on a 29-inch AH-IPS panel, fitted with WLED backlight. The display supports 2560x1080 pixels resolution at 60 Hz refresh rate. The panel’s response time makes up 5 ms, while viewing angles achieve 178/178 degrees.



Dell UltraSharp U2917W boasts 300 cd/m2 brightness as well as the maximal color coverage: 99% in sRGB environment & 99% in REC709 environment. The typical static contrast ratio equals to 1000:1, whereas color rendering index makes up ΔE<2.
