Seagate Announces a Bunch of New SSDs Targeting Various Segments

Seagate Technology, one of the leading players in HDD/SSD industry, announces the release of its first solid-state drive targeting consumer segment and next-generation drives targeting corporate field. Therefore, corporate clients will be able to enjoy the privileges of Seagate 1200 SSD that is primarily predestined for the implementation into high-end server systems. These drives will be released in three capacity versions (200 GB, 400 GB and 800 GB) and will employ SAS interface with 12 Gb/sec bandwidth.



Seagate 600 SSD is developed in 2.5-inch form-factor with two case depth modifications: 5 mm and 7 mm. Thermaltake Introduces Mid-Tower Soundproof Chassis New Soprano

Thermaltake proudly introduces a new series of PC chassis, codenamed New Soprano. The series is represented by two models: a model with totally white external casing New Soprano Snow Edition and a model with totally black casing. Both chassis are developed in Mid-Tower form factor and are a perfect choice for high-end systems with minimal noise effect. The ASUS TUF X299 Mark 2 Motherboard Is Equipped With Long-Lived Electrical Assemblies and Aura Sync LED Backlighting

The novelty from ASUSTeK Computer – the TUF X299 Mark 2 motherboard – is based on the Intel LGA2066 socket and the X299 logic set. Manufactured in the ATX form factor, this card is equipped with long-life electrical assemblies.



ASUS TUF X299 Mark 2 features eight slots for the DDR4-4133 RAM (up to 128 GB capacity), three PCI Express 3.0 x16 interfaces, supporting multi-GPU configurations according to the x16/x16/x8 scheme (on top Skylake-X processors), a single PCI-E 3.0 x4 and a couple of PCI-E 3.0 x1. Drives can be linked via six SATA 6 Gbps ports and two M.2 (32 Gbps) connectors.


On the rear panel one can see four USB 2.0, four USB 3.1 Gen1, two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports, a PS/2 connector, a gigabit network RJ45 interface and a few audio jacks.
