New Video Accelerators from AMD Will Be Based on Vega 10 Chips

According to available information, AMD will introduce two new lines of graphics accelerators next quarter. Those are Radeon RX Vega and Radeon RX 500.



Radeon RX Vega will be constructed with Vega architecture based GPU, and Radeon RX 500 will inherit accelerators, built on renamed Polaris series chips, which are well-known due to Polaris 12 chips and Radeon RX 400 cards. It is also reported, that latest driver packages for Linux contain an ID list of devices, designed with a Vega 10 graphics engine.


The data obtained indicate, that in the short term seven devices will be equipped with the Vega 10 chip. In particular, these products will include Radeon RX Vega video cards, alongside with high-end Radeon Instinct and Radeon Pro WX families accelerators.


Please note, that the Radeon RX 500 official announcement is expected to take place on the 18th of April, and Radeon RX Vega will be presented during the Computex 2017 event, which is planned to be conducted in Taipei …

Biostar Intros a New Affordable Motherboard Hi-Fi A75S3

Biostar starts the sale campaign of its new motherboard model codenamed Hi-Fi A75S3, which belongs to PURO Hi-Fi flagship line. It is developed in micro-ATX form-factor and is based on AMD A75 system logics. The board supports all contemporary AMD CPUs that are compatible with FM2 socket, including the series A10, A8, A6, E2, A4, and Athlon II X4 (all with TDP level not more than 100W). The new model is targeted to operate under Windows OS (versions XP, 7, Vista and 8).



Motherboard Hi-Fi A75S3 houses two DIMM slots for a two-channel DDR3 memory that is estimated to work at 800MHz, 1066MHz, 1333MHz, 1600MHz, and 1866 MHz frequency. The overall volume of the integrated memory might achieve 32GB. The model employs GPU of Direct X11 class that secures efficient performance in the majority of updated 3D games and applications. Intel to Officially Unveil a Flagship Motherboard DZ87KLT-75K

Several days are left till the official introduction of a new flagship motherboard from Intel, known as DZ87KLT-75K (Kinsley). The board is based on an overclocking Z87 Express chipset and employs 8-phase CPU power supply system. Memory subsystem is represented by four DIMM slots for DDR3 modules, while expansion facilities involve three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, three PCIe 2.0 x1 slots, a single PCI and a single mini-PCI slot. Storage capacities accommodate eight SATA III 6 Gb/sec ports.



Overclockers, as well as experienced users, will receive an opportunity of utilizing Power and Reset buttons right from the printed circuit board. This model offers 7.1-channel sounding, based on a corresponding controller, eight USB 3.0 ports, FireWire port, optical S/PDIF, a pair of gigabit Ethernet ports to enable network options, a single mini-DisplayPort and one Thunderbolt port.
