SilverStone has added to its inventory a straightforward-styled mid-tower chassis. Entitled Precision PS13, the new-comer features 426x400x126 mm dimensions and weighs 3.36 kg. It is targeting micro-ATX/ATX motherboards with the maximum of 7 expansion slots. The all-black frontal panel houses a large fine-meshed grille that optimizes airflow within the case. SilverStone Precision PS13 allows installing a pair of external 5.25-inch drives and one external 3.5-inch drive. Internal layout stipulates the installation of three more 3.5-/2.5-inch drives. Spacing is enough for quite long videocards (up to 348 mm), typical ATX PS/2 power supply units (up to 174 mm in length) and standard CPU coolers (up to 162 mm in height).

MSI, worldly-known producer of computer hardware and consumer electronics, does not allow its competitors to recover breath and rest on their laurels. Its new motherboard MS-9893 has been already presented to the public and is supposed to exceed the rival products in video performance and power consumption aspects. The new model is based on Intel Atom platform which is known for its power-saving characteristics and advanced performance. MS-9893 is able to work with the two models from Intel Atom line (considering the type of modification): Intel Atom N2800 and Intel Atom D2550.



MS-9893 is developed in mini-ITX form factor and is equipped with VGA, HDMI, and LVDS video outputs. The support of high-quality video in 1080P resolution standards is considered to be the major privilege of a new model from MSI. RAM memory is presented by a single 204-contact SO-DIMM slot which can accommodate DDR3 memory module of 4 GB in volume capacity and 1066 MHz frequency.
