Asus Launches Affordable 27-Inch VP278N Monitor

Asus is well-known for introducing multiple components for various customer groups. Mainstream segment is probably the main focus of the manufacturer. This time the lineup of affordable products has been replenished by a 27-inch monitor, entitled VP278N. In order to reduce production costs, Asus has implemented TN panel with Full HD resolution, rather than the top-notch 4K IPS panel.



The integrated TN panel promotes for a striking response time index – 1 ms. The display boasts some other outstanding specifications which allow it to compete with comrades from the high-end echelon in quality. Thus, it offers: 16:9 aspect ratio, 170/160 degrees viewing angles, 300 cd/m2 maximal brightness, and 100M:1 dynamic contract.

TUL Unchains Radeon R9 Nano Graphics Card

TUL Corporation announces the release of its own version of Radeon R9 Nano videocard (within the framework of PowerColor brand). The model preserves reference PCB and cooling design, implying its compatibility with mini-ITX PC systems and high-performance home media centers. The new-comer is about to launch at the price tag of $650.



PowerColor Radeon R9 Nano is developed on AMD Fiji XT GPU with 4096 stream processors based on GCN 1.2 architecture, 64 ROPs and 256 TMUs. The core operates at 1000 MHz frequency. It is accompanied by 4 GB of multilayer HBM1 memory with 4096-bit bus and 1000 MHz efficient frequency. The connection to the PSU is realized via a single 8-pin PCI Express Power connector.

Deepcool has introduced a ‘companion’ to its well-known cooler entitled Lucifer V2. The all-new Lucifer K2 features 163x146.5x131 mm dimensions and weighs 1047 g. The new-comer supports AMD and Intel platforms, including LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA115x, LGA775 (Intel) & Socket FM2, FM2+, FM1, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ (AMD) as well as various CPUs with TDP level of not more than 130 W.



Deepcool Lucifer K2 boasts a purely-polished copper base, six copper heatpipes and an aluminum heatsink (140x110x163 mm). The latter ensures a large heat dissipation area. Despite having stately proportions, the cooler does not block off the access towards DIMM slots.

Funkcije telefonske mreže u posljednjih nekoliko godina značajno poboljšana, prvenstveno zahvaljujući posebnim inovacije, увеличивающим propusnost pretplatnička linija. Takav tehnologija odnosi se xDSL (Digital subscriber line), koja se primjenjuje linearni kodovi i prilagodljivo alate za korekciju izobličenja linije. Za povezivanje na telefonsku liniju uobičajeno koristiti poseban uređaj (modemi), za koje se instaliraju upravljački program za xDSL modema.

Adapteri xDSL značilo značajno povećanje brzine prijenosa podataka na liniji i, za razliku od standardnih analognih ili digitalnih modema, podržavaju prijenos govora i video signala. To stvara korist za krajnjeg korisnika, tako i za operatera.

Treba napomenuti da je prvo slovo u акрониме – x – oznaka zamjenjuje prvi znak u nazivu određeni standard tehnologije. Danas, široko rasprostranjena je dobio slijedeće standarde:

  • ADSL omogućuje dvosmjernu da je prijenos podataka brzinom od 8.192 Mb/sec. iz usluga je prema korisniku i do 768 Kb/sec. od korisnika prema operateru.
  • ADSL G.lite nudi dva načina prijenosa podataka: simetrični i ассиметричный. U prvom slučaju, tehnologija osigurava propusnost do 384 Kb/sec. u oba smjera, dok u drugom slučaju brzina prijenosa od usluga do korisnika je 1.536 Mb/sec., a od korisnika na isp – 384 Kb/sec. Za postizanje maksimalnog učinka preporučuje se skinuti drivere za xDSL modema.
  • IDSL za rad koristi čips glavni pristup BRI ISDN, pružajući propusnost do 128 Kb/sec.
  • DDSL – verzija širokopojasne DSL tehnologije s pristupom linije na Frame Relay s kapacitetom do 768 Kb/sec.
  • SDSL prenosi podatke na simetrične linije. Brzina prijenosa može se razlikovati u zavisnosti od fizičkih parametara pretplatnička linija.
  • HDSL ima visoke brzine prijenosa podataka – od 1.5 Mb/sec. i više je u oba smjera.
  • VDSL – сверхскоростная digitalna linija koja osigurava propusnost na razini 52 Mb/sec.
