Intel announces the next, 7th generation of Intel Core processors, aka Intel Kaby Lake. The Intel U and the Intel Y series models were the first to debut. Each series involves three models, based on 14 nm Intel Skylake microarchitecture. Optimized design promises 12% increase in performance, if compared with the 6th-gen solutions. 
Asus has lately announced the release of a new desktop PC that positions itself as the first ever desktop solution with the support of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Entitled Asus M70, the product allows for the wireless interaction and data transfer with the compatible mobile devices on Android platform. For instance, a dedicated NFC Express software app enables an automatic copying of photo/video files from the smartphone or tablet to the PC.

All kits are furnished with an uncommon iLuce Thermal backlight on the basis of white, red and blue lights. Along with a decorative mission, this backlight serves informational means: the higher the temperature of the system is, the brighter and more regular the light illuminates.
