Asus keeps on expanding its lineup of gaming monitors. This time the manufacturer introduces a 24-inch MG248Q display, based on TN panel. The latter features 16:9 aspect ratio & supports Full HD resolution (1920x1080).The new-comer is characterized by a sleek design, an ergonomic stand with several adjustment options (height, swivel, pivot) and by the possibility to employ VESA bracket for wall mounting.
Western Digital is ready to launch another representative of My Cloud series – the EX2 targeting home-based systems. This NAS might be characterized by an expanded functional and the availability of two drive bays. The user is free to choose between various models: without HDDs and with pre-installed WD Red drives of 4, 6, 8 TB overall capacity. The latter are already adjusted to operate in RAID 1 array to provide for an ultimate performance.|

This year at Consumer Electronics Show 2018, which is to take place in Las Vegas during Jan 9 –12, Lenovo is expected to introduce the ThinkVision trade mark, under which the vendor will demonstrate its latest progress in monitors construction practice.New Lenovo samples possess the remarkable exterior with their minimal bezels and a slender stand. The company plans to show the ThinkVision X24 model in operation. This refers to a high-end general purpose type monitor, equipped with the 23.8″ (1920 × 1080) IPS panel and WLED backlighting. The specialty features the standard 250 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast, 170/178 degrees viewing angles and the 99 % sRGB colour gamma. The frequency span is 47‒63 Hz, so the novelty is supposed to support the FreeSync technology. ThinkVision X24 has HDMI 1.4 + DisplayPort ports, thin edges (1.1 mm thick only except for the lower one, which is somewhat wider and bears a logo).
