The high modulation frequency of the edge W-LED backlighting excludes flicker at any brightness. The gray-to-gray response time is 4 msec, the brightness factor is 250 cd/m2, and contrast ratio is 3000:1. Philips 278E8QJAB covers 104 % of NTSC and 130 % of sRGB colour gamuts and is mostly intended for entertainment.
