Bitfenix intrоduced the оrigіnal Nova almоst two yеars ago as an еntry lеvel optiоn. This time, the Nova TG utіlіzes the sаme dеsign, but renоvаtes the tеchnical pоtеntial. New mоdel spоrts a tеmpеred glаss side pаnel, vаstly updаted intеrior, and a few splаshes of cоlоr. This shоuld mаke the chаssis a lоt mоre аppeаling to a wіder tаrget аudiеnce. Seagate has geared up a surprise for all devotees of Small Office Home Office (SOHO) network storage solutions. Delivering NAS and NAS Pro series, the company tried to comply with the customers’ needs for compact but voluminous storage for integral data with an access via the network cable. Both lineups are based on an updated NAS OS 4 that offers a more user-friendly graphics interface and improved features on setup.



Seagate NAS series comes in two versions: with two and four drive bays for the installation of 3.5-inch SATA HHDs. Both models are based on Marvell ARM chip that runs at 1.2 GHz; it is complemented with 512 MB RAM. In its turn, Seagate NAS Pro additionally involves a version with six drive bays. The model’s hardware base employs Intel Atom C2000 CPU and 2 GB RAM, which in an assemblage provide for a better efficiency.

The Aerocool XPredator II is an updated and refreshed version of the first XPredator case, which was released six years ago. The modification took into account the realities of modern components, although in the second iteration of the chassis there is still a touch of «muscularity» characteristic of those times when the motherboards of the XL-ATX format, video cards over 300 mm long or 1.5-kilogram processor cooling systems were common.


Currently, the requirements for case components characteristics are much more modest. But the excess capacity and power of the XPredator II cooling system are superfluous not for everyone, as a number of users actually need to build up a really large and hot system by the nature of their activities or hobbies.
