Enermax Platimax D.F. PSUs Hit the Market

Enermax launches a couple of platinum power supply units, earlier unveiled at the CeBIT 2016. The Platimax D.F. model is available in two versions – 500 W & 600 W – which boast 80Plus Platinum certificate thanks to 93% efficiency index. They are able to operate within 100-240 V voltage range at 10 A input. Featuring 150x160x86 mm dimensions, both PSUs can fit in any PC case.



Enermax Platimax D.F. units are furnished with a single +12V rail, estimated for 492/600 W power. At the same time the output power of +3.3 V & +5 V rails makes up 103 W. The hardware base includes high-quality Japanese capacitors as well as low-voltage DC-DC converters.


Cooling is secured by a single 139-mm fan based on Twister Bearing; it is thought to operate up to 160 thousand hours. The fan supports Dust Free Rotation technology that enables reverse rotation during the first 10 seconds.

Geil Unveiled Some Specifications of DDR3 Evo Veloce Series

Geil has highlighted certain information about its new DDR3 memory series, codenamed Evo Veloce. According to the claimed by the manufacturer specifications, Evo Veloce will become a master sample for all similar DDR3 modules. ASRock Showcases H61M-VG4 Motherboard for Ivy Bridge Processors

In spite of the commotion incited by the upcoming release of Intel Haswell processors and the growth of products compatible with their technical requirements, Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs will continue their existence in the market for some time more. For the nonce, ASRock has elaborated a new micro-ATX motherboard, codenamed H61M-VG4. The newly-designed product is based on Intel H61 Express chipset with Socket LGA1155, supporting Intel Ivy Bridge/Sandy Bridge processor lines. ASRock H61M-VG4 is furnished with two DIMM slots which support two-channel DDR3 memory modules of up to 16 GB capacity, running at 1066 MHz, 1333 MHz and 1600 MHz frequencies.
