Foreword

For half a year everyone who wishes to acquire a system based on Intel Core 8-th generation processors needs to focus exclusively on models with the top-end Intel Z370. Most recently, Intel has expanded the range of Coffee Lake chips and finally offered manufacturers more affordable PCH. Intel B360 has a special role here. Today we have the first model based on Intel B360 - ASUS ROG STRIX B360-F GAMING.

 

The importance of new PCHs for manufacturers in general and Intel B360 in particular is the only evidenced by the fact that on one chipset ASUS offers more than fifteen motherboards in the PRIME, TUF GAMING and ROG STRIX series. In turn, ROG STRIX B360-F GAMING is the top model based on Intel B360.

The board includes a user's manual, a driver and software CD, four SATA interface cables, a set of screws for mounting M.2 drives, and an additional body kit printed on a 3D printer.

Kingmax Enlarges the SME Xvalue Lineup with Two New SSD Series

Kingmax, a renowned manufacturer of various data storage and memory solutions, has replenished its SME Xvalue lineup of solid-state drives with a pair of new series. Codenamed SME 32 Xvalue and SME 35 XValue, both series count three models of 60 GB, 120 GB, and 240 GB capacities. It should be noted that the first lineup is predestined to be installed into laptops and small-sized devices, whereas the second one – into desktop PCs.



SME Xvalue SSDs are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature 100.5x69.85x7 mm dimensions. All of them employ SATA 6 Gb/sec interface and are based on MLC NAND flash memory. The drives can operate under 5V voltage within the temperature ranges of 0-+70 degrees. The manufacturer claims that their fail-proof operation time might achieve an unbelievable index — 1.200.000 hours.

ASUS ROG Swift XG258Q Is a Superfast Full HD Gaming Monitor Featuring the 1 ms Response Time

ASUS broadens the range of ROG gaming devices with its latest Swift XG258Q monitor, which obtained the 24.5-inch TN matrix and the 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution.



This Full HD screen features the following key specs: the ultra-fast 1 ms response time (gray to gray), 240 Hz refresh rate, 400 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 170 (horizontally) and 160 (vertically) viewing angles.
