The units of Navitas line are more suitable for the professional using, while less strict users can be satisfied with a wide range of various models, which differ from each other by the circuit engineering, the form of the case, the size of the fan and by the presence of the power cables’ module access.



Every year the company extends the model range, and the last innovation is Proton line, which is characterized by the independent stabilization of the compliance voltage.


There are 7 power supply units in the new line, three of which (S models) have the capacity of 400 – 600 W and four of them (С models) have the capacity of 650 – 1000 W and the module access. The Specs of the Gigabyte Brix GB-EACE-3450 Compact PC Are Already Unveiled

Gigabyte has unveiled specifications of its Brix GB-EACE-3450 mini PC, however, the device is not on the market yet.



As distinct from many Brix series products, GB-EACE-3450 is anything but a gaming solution. It is based on the 14 nm Intel Celeron N3450 (Apollo Lake) processor and doesn’t have a discrete graphics core.

Ultimate RAM capacity of this compact PC comes up to 8 GB; and one can use M.2 SSD drives for storage. The cooling system is passive, so long as the case acts as a heat sink.


Brix GB-EACE-3450 offers many connectivity possibilities. Customers can use four USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI outputs, two Gigabit Ethernet and an audio jack. The presence of the RJ-45 port allows to connect RS232/422/485 through the help of adapter. Other highlights include wireless net adapters, a card reader, an inner slot for a cellular modem, three antennas and a VESA mounting bracket, which lets fix the mini PC behind a display.

AMD Adds Three New Mobile APUs to Kabini Series

AMD has replenished its mobile APU line with three new models of AMD Kabini series: E2-3800, E1-2200 and A4-5100. The triple is developed on Jaguar microarchitecture (28 nm) with SoC design. Needless to say that the new-comers are destined to be incorporated within hand-held mobile devices, such as entry-level laptops and tablets. All of the models are housed in BGA 769 socket cases, thus the customers might expect their market appearance within ready devices.



SoC design stipulates the integration of a one-channel DDR3 controller with the support for two memory modules. In addition, it allows for the enabling of SD, USB 3.0, HD Audio, PCI Express 2.0, LPC, and SATA 6 Gb/sec interfaces. More details about each model are provided below.
