ID-Cooling Hunter Duet II Liquid Cooling System

ID-Cooling, being famous for its cooling systems, has released a Hunter Duet II cooler of large dimensions, which is supposed to transfer heat from the CPU and the graphics engine surfaces. This model is designed with a 360 mm heat sink, which is of great benefit to its efficiency factor.



The construction includes two water units with a base out of copper and built-in pumps, pipes in braided cable, the three-section aluminum 395 × 120 × 27 mm heat sink, three 120 mm fans, and an extraordinary framework with a 90 mm fan to blow over graphics card load-bearing elements and intensive plates for the CPU and GPU.


Though possessing similar construction, water units differ in lids design and the location of holes for liquid flow. At the moment their inner structure details are not available.

A compact fan to blow over VRM consumes 1.2 W. Its rotary speed is not higher than 1,500 rpm. The same ratio of each of the three main fans is not supposed to exceed 1,500–2,000 rpm.

Thirst for innovative visual technologies made Samsung develop another curved monitor – the S29E790C. The 29-inch item is based on MVA panel that is characterized by 2560x1080 resolution (Wide FHD) and 21:9 aspect ratio. The model is available in two color variations (black and silver) to perfectly match hi-tech environment. Release and price info is currently unknown.



Samsung S29E790C is able to ensure 100% of sRGB color gamut, 4 ms response time, the widest viewing angles (178/178 degrees), 300 cd/m2 brightness, 8-bit 16.7 million of displayed colors, and 60 Hz refresh time. The monitor is peculiar by an increased index of static contrast (3000:1) which might be raised dynamically due to the integration of Mega DCR system.

Intel Makes a Surprise Launch of Ivy Bridge Processors

The release of the 4th generation Intel Haswell processors made a real stir last week. This turmoil left the launch of several Intel Ivy Bridge processors practically unnoticed. How strange as it might seem, but Intel keeps on supplying its 3rd generation products to comply with the needs of the vast majority of customers. Hence, a set of new CPUs consists of: five Intel Pentium models (G2140, G2120T, G2030T, G2030), three Intel Core models (i3-3245, i3-3250, i3-3250T), and a single Intel Celeron G470 model.



Each Intel Pentium processor features two cores and 3 MB of cache-memory. The nominal clock frequencies fluctuate within the measures of 2.6-3.3 GHz, depending on the model. All the models within the line are equipped with Intel HD graphics core. Intel Pentium G2030T and G2030 support two-channel DDR3 modules with up to 1333 MHz frequency, while their companions – Intel Pentium G2140 and G2120T – support DDR3-1600 MHz modules.
