ZOTAC Releases the Fanless ZBOX PI335 Compact PC Equipped with the Intel Apollo Lake Processor

In case you are looking for a slimline computer for solving simple routine tasks you should pay attention to the novelty in the ZOTAC ZBOX PICO series – namely the ZOTAC ZBOX PI335 model, featuring the entirely passive cooling.


The specialty is built on the 14 nm Intel Apollo Lake N3350 Processor (dual core/two threads, 1.1–2.4 GHz) with the integrated Intel HD Graphics 500 graphics engine. The capacity of the preinstalled LPDDR3 memory is 4 GB, and of the eMMC drive – 32 GB. AOC Announces a Budget-Friendly 31.5” Q3279VWF Monitor Supporting the FreeSync and Flicker-Free Technologies

AOC unveiled its plans to put on the market the entry-level 31.5-inch gaming monitor under the Q3279VWF code name.



This monitor possesses the MVA matrix with the 16:9 aspect ratio and 2560х1440 pixels resolution. The colour depth is 8 bit per channel, however, due to the FRC tech realized this sample is able represent 1.07 bln of shades and cover 88% of the NTSC colour gamut. The AOC device features the 5 ms GtG response time, 178° viewing angles (horizontally and vertically), 250 cd/m² brightness and 3000:1 static contrast ratio.


The specialty supports the AMD FreeSync tech, allowing dynamic refresh rate changing in the range of 48–75 Hz, and the Flicker Free tech, reducing image blinking as well as impact on users’ eyes.


An image source can be connected via the VGA, DVI Dual Link, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces.


AOC Q3279VWF will hit the shelves in November with the $300 recommended price.

The Highly Effective Galax GeForce GTX 1050 OC Graphics Accelerator

The Galax Company is ready to release the GeForce GTX 1050 OC graphics accelerator with a slight factory overclock.



This graphics card is based on the 14 nm Pascal GP107 graphics chip and features 640 streaming processors. The base and boosted core frequencies correspond to 1,366 and 1,468 MHz comparing to 1,354 and 1,455 MHz of reference units. There are 2 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit bus and with the frequency of 7,008 MHz. Being a Pascal-based device, this specialty is designed with FinFET technology and supports DirectX 12 for the fast and smooth gaming session.


The graphics accelerator is equipped with a one-fan cooling system (the diameter of the cooler is 90 mm). Displays can be connected via such ports, as DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort. The product takes two expansion slots in the chassis.


Galax GeForce GTX 1050 OC will be on sale since 23rd of December at the approximate price of $140.
