Deepcool Aeolus Big Frost Presentation

Deepcool Industries, a renowned manufacturer of cooling systems, has officially announced the launch of its new dual-tower processor cooler Aeolus Big Frost. The prototype of this model has been already presented at Computex 2012 and is currently released as a ready-made product. This model is compatible with practically all CPU types available in the market from Intel and AMD manufacturers. In addition, it is able to support FM2/FM1 platform.

Deepcool Aeolus Big Frost is a simplified version of Assassin series. Despite this fact, the new cooler preserves the framework standards with dual-section radiators. Aeolus Big Frost has got copper base which is equipped with six U-shaped heat pipes (6 mm each pipe). Those pipes are pierced by a large number of aluminum plates.

Gigabyte Aorus ATC700 - Silence is Gold

Introduction

Gigabyte has been producing cooling systems for PC for many years, and unfortunately not all of them were successful, sometimes leaving an ambiguous impression, but they still attracted attention to themselves.

The item of this review is its latest creation in this segment — the monstrous model ATC700, included in the Aorus lineup and presented at Computex 2017. According to the developers, the novelty is capable of removing more than 200W of heat from the processor.

Preliminary specifications and release date of GeForce GTX 6500

On August 16 it is planned to release one of the first mainstream cards Nvidia family Kepler — GeForce GTX 660 Ti. Different sources are still disagree considering its characteristics. It is known that it will be based on the graphic chip GK104 and have a more modest power system than the GTX 670. Crippled in its capability GPU GK104 will form the basis for GeForce GTX 660 and, probably, GTX 650 Ti. Boards of mainstream class and below will use the processor GK107.

Actually, GK107 is already present in the market as part of the line of video cards GeForce GT 640, but it limits the potential by slower memory DDR3. Release of modifications GT 640 with GDDR5 chips on board, according to foreign analytics is just a matter of time.

It is believed that the GeForce GT 640 GDDR5 will receive commercial name GeForce GTX 650. This assumption is not without logic, because it will be easier for Nvidia to sell large quantities of video cards (notice how long the Santa Clara did not …
