Cooler Master Readies a New Silencio 452 PC Chassis

Cooler Master has added a new PC chassis to its Silencio series. The Silencio 452 is developed in a mid-tower form-factor and features 194x451.4x494.7 mm dimensions. It is peculiar by a sleek design with totally black interior and exterior. The case boasts soundproof side panels and anti-vibration rubber props. The greenhorn is supposed to come on sale in early January, 2014, though the pricing is currently unknown.



Cooler Master Silencio 452 is intended to accommodate motherboards of a standard ATX, as well as a micro-ATX standard. Storage is introduced by two 5.25-inch racks and six internal 3.5/2.5-inch racks. This is quite enough for the assembling of a powerful platform.


Internal layout allows for the installation of quite lengthy graphics adapters (up to 386 mm) and, if necessary, a voluminous liquid-cooling heatsink (240 mm). The latter is supplemented by dedicated rubber grommets on the rear facet.

High-End NAS Series TS-x69 from QNAP

QNAP, an outstanding supplier of network attached storages and NVR solutions, announces the release of a new high-end NAS series TS-x69. The series is represented by five models with two (TS-269 Pro), four (TS-469 Pro), five (TS-569 Pro), six (TS-669 Pro) and eight (TS-869 Pro) disk bays. All the models support hot drive swapping activity that does not require cessation of all operations when there is a need to change one of the drives. Under the company's idea, these NAS products are targeting small and middle business as a primary goal.



All five models are based on two-core Intel Atom D2700 processor, the nominal clock frequency of which achieves 2.13 GHz. TS-x69 models are equipped with DDR3 memory type of 1GB capacity; if there is a necessity, the user is able to enlarge the volume to 3GB. Three ROG Strix Family Novelties are the Latest Products from Asus

The Asus ROG Strix line has been replenished with three monitors. Novelties feature high refresh rate and AMD FreeSync technology support, which ensures display image frequency and graphic map display video output sync, so that screening is smooth.



The master model is Asus Strix XG32V, built on the curved 31.5-inch IPS panel with WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. The radius of curvature equals to 1800R (1800 mm), and the refresh rate is 144 Hz. The interface set includes one HDMI 2.0, two DisplayPort 1.2 and several USB 3.0 ports.


The Strix XG27V sample is equipped with a 1920 х 1080 pixels 27″ screen. The update rate and the curvature radius are the same as with the aforementioned model. DisplayPort, HDMI and DVI-D ports represent connectivity options. The specialty is reported to be of a reasonable price, however, exact value is unknown yet.
