ASRock is about to launch a small-sized gaming mainboard based on Z170 chipset. The Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX is developed in mini-ITX form-factor to fit compact PC systems. The model is differentiated by the implementation of High Density Glass Fabric PCB design that is called to absolutely eliminate the possibility of short circuit in case of prolonged humidity. The board also strikes the eye by an outstanding black-and-red styling. 
Supermicro announced the C9X299-PGF and C9X299-RPGF system cards, designed for construction of powerful desktops, based on the Intel architecture. Both products belong to the ATX class and have the following dimensions: 305 × 244 mm.|

SilverStone has replenished its inventory with a 4-bay NAS, entitled SST-TS433-TB. The new-comer is housed in a black aluminum case with an integrated zinc handle (124x166x248 mm dimensions). The storage allows to install high-capacity 3.5-/2.5-inch drives; each bay supports hot swapping functions and features a dedicated lock with LED activity indicator. The heart of SilverStone SST-TS433-TB is Marvell 88SE9030 controller that is responsible for JBOD and RAID 0 operational modes. In the first case the drives function independently, whereas in RAID 0 mode they operate as a unified whole, evenly distributing information across the disc space.
The connection of NAS to the PC or other computing device is realized via a pair of Thunderbolt 2 ports which are characterized by the maximal bandwidth of 20 Gb/sec. These ports are known to support Daisy Chain function. Cooling of all internal components is entrusted to a single 90-mm fan.
