Zotac Launches a Duet of Nano Mini-PCs

Zotac always keeps a wary eye on the PC hardware progress. This time the company was one of the first manufacturers to integrate the latest Intel Core 8th Gen mobile processors (Intel Kaby Lake-R) into its line of mini-PCs. This is in reference to Zotac Mi640 nano and Zotac Mi660 nano models, codenamed ZBOX-MI640NANO & ZBOX-MI660NANO respectively.

 

Zotac Mi640 item is based on a 4-core Intel Core i5-8250U CPU, running at 1.6-3.4 GHz frequency. Meanwhile, the second item, Zotac Mi660, comes equipped with a more efficient CPU: Intel Core i7-8550U, operating at 1.8-4.0 GHz frequency. Both new-comers support CPUs with a customizable TDP level (10-25 W), though coming with a standard 15 W marker.

 

Mini-PCs employ iGPU Intel UHD Graphics 620 graphics core, a couple of SO-DIMM slots for up to 32 GB DDR4-2400 MHz modules. Storage subsystem includes a single 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD slot; additionally, there is a multimedia card-reader slot (SD/SDXC/SDHC). Network …

Asus Launches Top-Notch ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti Graphics Card

Asus is happy to introduce, upon its own statement, the most efficient graphics card based on Nvidia’s GTX 980 adapter. The ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti is by 18.7% faster than all other reference analogues. Its advantage in some gaming applications achieves stunning 21.6%. Besides, the customers are able to further boost its performance due to ROG GPU Tweak II utility.



Asus ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti employs an overclocked version of GM200-310 GPU. In OC gaming mode its clock frequencies make up 1216 MHz/1317 MHz (base/dynamic), whereas in Gaming mode these showings achieve 1190 MHz/1290 MHz margin. As far as memory is concerned, it’s introduced by GDDR5 modules (6 GB, 384-bit rail), running at 7200 MHz frequency.


Cooling is entrusted to DirectCU II cooler with direct touch technology and a pair of fans. The latter provide for the decrease of heat by 30% as well as triple cut of noise level, if compared with the reference cooler. Power is supplied via two 8-pin connectors.

According to reports of several network resources, AOC is going to release the AG352UCG6 Black Edition monitor, designed to become a part of gaming systems.

 

The specialty distinguishes itself due to a large 35-inch curved panel with the 3440 × 1440 pixels resolution. Key specifications include the 300 cd/m2 brightness, 2500:1 contrast ratio, 4 ms (GtG) response time and 120 Gz refresh rate, while viewing angles indicated are 178 degrees vertically and horizontally. The 100 % coverage of the sRGB colour gamut is claimed.

 

AG352UCG6 Black Edition supports the NVIDIA G-Sync technology, ensuring smooth video stream transfer without delays. The monitor possesses digital HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces, intended for signal sources connection.
