
QNAP, a well-known designer of network and CCTV monitoring solutions, is glad to come up with a new series of NAS devices – the TS-x51. The series is currently introduced by two models with two and four drive sections. They are intended to operate under the base of Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows Server 2012, VMware VSphere, Citrix XENServer platforms. Both new-comers are housed in stylish white enclosures that match either home or corporate environment.
The TS-x51 storages are based on Intel processor with 2.4GHz clock frequency. It is accompanied by 1 GB RAM (DDR3L), 7.1-channel audio controller, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac adapter via an independent USB key. These NAS support the installation of SSD/HDD/SSHD drives of 3.5-inch form-factor with SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface. The frontal panel accommodates activity indicators, Power and Reset buttons, as well as a single USB 3.0 port.
