Preliminary Acquaintance with VGA-Cooler MK-26 V2 from Prolimatech

Prolimatech Inc., an established manufacturer of high-end air-cooling systems, is about to release its new VGA-cooler, codenamed MK-26 V2. The upcoming product will be compatible with graphics cards from AMD manufacturer (up to Radeon HD 7000 Series) and Nvidia (up to GeForce GTX 600 Series). According to the preliminary data, the new cooler models will be capable to manage up to 320W of extra heat to provide for the most optimal GPU cooling down.



The major distinction of MK-26 V2 cooler is its impressive dimensions which equal to 230x146x47 mm. Thus, the cooler will take the spacing of five expansion slots, leaving no room for SLI/Crossfire. The cooler has got a copper base which accommodates six copper heatpipes, 6mm in gauge each pipe. Those pipes pierce two heterogeneous blocks consisting of thin aluminum fins which are designed in correspondence with Buckle Fin technology. Spire Launches Ridge 6601 and Ridge 6602 PC Chassis

Spire has officially launched a new line of budgetary PC chassis, codenamed Spire Ridge. At the moment, there are only two models within the series – the Ridge 6601 and the Ridge 6602. Both are characterized by the support for ATX motherboards and have many other identical specifications: i.e. mid-tower form-factor, 192x415x418 mm dimensions. Still, there are some differentiations as well.



The first distinction between the two models lies in the frontal panel design. Therefore, Ridge 6601 features a laconic panel made of plastic without additional ventilation. In its turn, Ridge 6602 features a half-perforated metallic frontal panel that allows for a more intense cooling of internal components.
