Foxconn has changed specifications of nettop Nano AT-5250

Due to a sudden «retirement» of the processor Intel Atom D2700, Foxconn company was forced to make adjustments in the equipment of its compact desktop PC Nano AT-5250 on Intel platform. As a result, in its specifications, instead of old CPU, a new dual-core chip Intel Atom D2550 with a frequency of 1.83 GHz has been implemented. As for the version of the nettop, built on a platform of AMD, it is worth noting that its specifications remain the same. It should be mentioned, that here a dual-core accelerated processor AMD E-450 is a “heart” with 1.65 GHz of clock frequency. Its integrated graphics is AMD Radeon HD 6320.



Mini-PC weighs 600 grams, is performed in a black hull with dimensions of 190 x 135 x 38 mm, and is passively cooled.


Among other specifications, its arsenal can boast:

— 4*USB 2.0 ports, 2*USB 3.0 ports, one DVI port and HDMI;

— One SO-DIMM slot for location up to 4 GB of RAM DDR3;

— Bays for installation of one 2.5-inch and one 1.8-inch …

Thermalright Launches New Low-Profile CPU Cooler AXP-200

Thermalright, a Taiwanese developer of advanced cooling solutions, enters into the market with a new low-profile CPU cooler – the successor of the last year’s model AXP-100. Codenamed AXP-200, the product features 150x140x60 mm dimensions and is intended to be incorporated into HTPC systems, as well as in compact PC chassis with the support of mini-ITX motherboards. This cooler is compatible with the majority of up-dated platforms, including Intel LGA 1150/1155/2011/1156/1366/775 and AMD Socket AM3/AM3+/AM2/AM2+/FM2/FM1.



The first thing that should be noted about AXP-200 is that it’s a more powerful version of the predecessor, ready to dissipate heat even without the fan from all processors with TDP level of up to 35 W. The other peculiar thing is that the model comes at an attractive price of approximately €50. And finally, framework is one more feature that differentiates AXP-200 from rival products.

The Specs of the Gigabyte Brix GB-EACE-3450 Compact PC Are Already Unveiled

Gigabyte has unveiled specifications of its Brix GB-EACE-3450 mini PC, however, the device is not on the market yet.



As distinct from many Brix series products, GB-EACE-3450 is anything but a gaming solution. It is based on the 14 nm Intel Celeron N3450 (Apollo Lake) processor and doesn’t have a discrete graphics core.

Ultimate RAM capacity of this compact PC comes up to 8 GB; and one can use M.2 SSD drives for storage. The cooling system is passive, so long as the case acts as a heat sink.


Brix GB-EACE-3450 offers many connectivity possibilities. Customers can use four USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI outputs, two Gigabit Ethernet and an audio jack. The presence of the RJ-45 port allows to connect RS232/422/485 through the help of adapter. Other highlights include wireless net adapters, a card reader, an inner slot for a cellular modem, three antennas and a VESA mounting bracket, which lets fix the mini PC behind a display.
