Asus Launches Affordable 27-Inch VP278N Monitor

Asus is well-known for introducing multiple components for various customer groups. Mainstream segment is probably the main focus of the manufacturer. This time the lineup of affordable products has been replenished by a 27-inch monitor, entitled VP278N. In order to reduce production costs, Asus has implemented TN panel with Full HD resolution, rather than the top-notch 4K IPS panel.



The integrated TN panel promotes for a striking response time index – 1 ms. The display boasts some other outstanding specifications which allow it to compete with comrades from the high-end echelon in quality. Thus, it offers: 16:9 aspect ratio, 170/160 degrees viewing angles, 300 cd/m2 maximal brightness, and 100M:1 dynamic contract.

TUL Corporation announces the release of its own version of Radeon R9 Nano videocard (within the framework of PowerColor brand). The model preserves reference PCB and cooling design, implying its compatibility with mini-ITX PC systems and high-performance home media centers. PowerColor Radeon R9 Nano is developed on AMD Fiji XT GPU with 4096 stream processors based on GCN 1.2 architecture, 64 ROPs and 256 TMUs. The core operates at 1000 MHz frequency. Deepcool has introduced a ‘companion’ to its well-known cooler entitled Lucifer V2. The all-new Lucifer K2 features 163x146.5x131 mm dimensions and weighs 1047 g. The new-comer supports AMD and Intel platforms, including LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1366, LGA115x, LGA775 (Intel) & Socket FM2, FM2+, FM1, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ (AMD) as well as various CPUs with TDP level of not more than 130 W.
