The Taiwan In Win Development company decided to bring the D-Frame Mini chassis back to life. This case saw the world back in 2014 and today it is released in new appearance.

 

Comparing to the predecessor, the novelty is more reasonably priced and available in several colour variants, among which one may distinguish red, black, white, orange, green and blue. D-Frame Mini construction is left unchanged with the 501(length) x 230(width) x 405(height) mm dimensions and 5.25 kg weight. In its most part the specialty is produced out of aluminium and tempered glass.

 

The framework is ready to house a Mini-ITX motherboard, an ATX-compatible power supply, three 3.5” and two 2.5” drives, a two-slot graphics card of up to 340 mm length, a CPU cooler (165 mm high max) and a liquid cooling system heatsink of the 240 mm typical size. Kingmax, a renowned manufacturer of various data storage and memory solutions, has replenished its SME Xvalue lineup of solid-state drives with a pair of new series. Codenamed SME 32 Xvalue and SME 35 XValue, both series count three models of 60 GB, 120 GB, and 240 GB capacities. It should be noted that the first lineup is predestined to be installed into laptops and small-sized devices, whereas the second one – into desktop PCs.



SME Xvalue SSDs are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature 100.5x69.85x7 mm dimensions. All of them employ SATA 6 Gb/sec interface and are based on MLC NAND flash memory. The drives can operate under 5V voltage within the temperature ranges of 0-+70 degrees. The manufacturer claims that their fail-proof operation time might achieve an unbelievable index — 1.200.000 hours.

Be Quiet! has supplemented its lineup of PC cases with two Super-Midi Tower models: the Dark Base 900 & the Dark Base Pro 900. Both new-comers allow for the installation of ATX/XL-ATX/E-ATX motherboards with the maximum of 8 expansion slots. The chassis is made of SECC steel with a mixture of ABS-plastic inserts. The Pro version comes with a side window made of a quenched glass.
