Argon AR11 CPU Cooler by SilverStone Is Designed for Compact Systems

The Taiwan SilverStone manufacturer has announced the forthcoming release of the Argon AR11 CPU cooler, constructed for space effective systems.

 

This low profile product is Intel Socket LGA1150/1151/1155/1156 compatible and can be utilized with processors of up to 95 W capacity or more (a framework with the high air flow level is needed in such cases).

 

The heatsink is built with an array of aluminium fins and four 6 mm copper heat pipes. The heat-pipe direct contact (HDC) tech is applied. Chilling is ensured by the low noise (44.5 dBA at most) 92 mm PWM fan, the declared error-free running time of which reaches 70,000 hours. The fan rotary velocity lies in the range of 1,200–3,000 rpm, while providing up to 55.7 CFM air flow.

Microsoft to Come Out with Surface Studio All-in-One PC

Microsoft has unveiled its first all-in-one PC – Microsoft Surface Studio. Featuring 28-inch PixelSense touch-screen with 4500x3000 pixels resolution, the new-comer is primarily targeting designers, animators and other graphics specialists. The display features 3:2 aspect ratio & 192 PPI. Besides, it offers multi-touch facilities (up to 10 simultaneous touches), supporting calibration in Adobe sRGB & DCI-P3 color environments (there is a possibility to switch between them).



It should be noted that the hardware is housed within the block’s base. The stand provides for multiple adjustments in order to achieve the ultimate viewing experience. The model is developed on Intel Core i5/i7 Skylake CPU which is accompanied by 8/16/32 GB RAM and either Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M (2 GB) or Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M (4 GB) GDDR5 graphics.

Xigmatek Releases the Glare 7A Chassis Aimed at Gaming Desktops

The Xigmatek company introduces the Glare 7A PC case, intended for assembling gaming desktops, based on the ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards.



The specialty is performed in the Mid Tower form factor with such dimensions: 495 × 452 × 200 mm. One of its side panels is made of acrylic material, providing the full sight of inner system components. On the front one can see a tempered glass panel.


The Xigmatek framework allows mounting of seven expansion cards. The maximum length of discrete graphics accelerators equals 390 mm.


This chassis is equipped with four 120 mm fans (3 on the front and 1 at the rear) featuring red LED illumination. Besides, at the top it’s possible to locate three 120 mm or two 140 mm coolers. If using the liquid cooling system one may involve 120, 240, 280 or 360 mm heatsinks. The height of the CPU cooler is not to overcome 160 mm.
