Lexar Announces Memory Cards of Professional 400x SDXC UHS-I Series

Memory cards of SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity) standard are a new solution in the market. Lexar took challenge to become a pioneer in the integration of this standard into their products and announced the released of a new Professional 400x SDCX UHS-I model. This memory card belongs to the high-speed products. It is called to satisfy the needs of professional photographers and just enthusiasts, longing to receive the highest Full HD video or photo shots.



According to the preliminary specifications, memory cards Professional 400x SDCX UHS-I correspond to SD 3.0 standards and are designed under UHS-I technology. They will be delivered in 256 GB volume capacities. The claimed maximal data reading speed approximates 60 Mb/sec.

Scythe Showcases a New Affordable Kotetsu Cooler

Scythe has recently showcased its newest CPU cooling system with an expressive codename Kotetsu. Relying much on the demands of average customers, the product offers an optimal correlation of efficiency and price. The Kotetsu is an ordinary tower-like product with a perfect cooling potential. However, its key advantage is the employment of Hyper Precision Mounting System, which ensures fast and trouble-free installation.



First and the foremost, Scythe Kotetsu is ready to work with all current CPU platforms, including Intel Socket LGA1150 and AMD Socket FM2+. Heat dissipation efficiency is realized thanks to a large number of aluminum fins, incorporated into the heatsink, as well as four heat-pipes of 6 mm each. Gigabyte Shows Off a Bespoke GTX 970 Graphics Card

Gigabyte has intrigued its fans by the design of an unusual videocard – the GeForce GTX 970 (GV-N970TTOC-4GD). It is based on Nvidia GM-204-200-A1 GPU (Maxwell) but with overclocked frequencies. The core operates at 1101 MHz/1241 MHz instead of etalon 1050 MHz/1178 MHz. The GPU is accompanied with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory (256-bit bus) that runs at 7010 MHz efficient clock frequency.



Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 is distinguished by the implementation of Twin Turbo Fan cooling system. It consists of three copper heatpipes with direct touch technology, an aluminum heatsink, and a radial-flow fan; the latter grasps air from both sides of the adapter due to the shortened PCB design.


As a result, the airflow increases by 24%, whereas the cooling effect enhances by 29%. Thanks to this, the card is thought to be an optimal solution for Nvidia SLI configurations.
