Motherboard ASRock Z87 Extreme6 (LGA1150 Platform) Review

Intel Z87 platform is masterfully penetrating into all global markets. ASRock is the company that has already managed to introduce a set of products based on this platform, including Z87 Extreme6 model. Design and Layout


ASRock Z87 Extreme6 is designed in ATX form-factor with 305x244 mm dimensions. Its top side accommodates a large number of components, while the reverse side revels in three driver-doublers (ISL6611A) of CPU power rails only. Intel Z87 chipset is cooled down by a voluminous heatsink. Evga Unveils More Information about Z77 Mini ITX Motherboard

Last month Evga announced the release of its new motherboard of mini ITX form-factor based on Intel Z77 chip. Currently, there is no information concerning the exact release date, although the company keeps the suspense by providing more data about the future product. The motherboard will be codenamed Evga Z77 Mini ITX and will be compatible with LGA 1155 socket. The board will own unmatched properties to provide for the extreme overclocking facilities.



Evga Z77 Mini ITX is developed on eight-channel power supply subsystem that employs DrMOS IR3550M components. Additional power is supplied by 8-contact EPS12V socket.
